Early Days

We lived in Hanwell in London.  Our parents moved to Australia in 1958.

In Sydney we initially lived in Connell's Point, near Hurstville.  After a few years we moved to Springwood in the Blue Mountains and then to Faulconbridge.  I took the 19 mile train trip to school at Katoomba while Linda left in 1962 or 1963 not long after we moved there.

Linda joined the Independent Theatre and lived in Carabela Street in Kirribilli until she moved to Randwick and to the Old Tote in 1973 or 1974.  I spent a lot of time at her place in Kirribilli and by the time she'd moved to Randwick I was living in Neutral Bay.  I regret moving out at the time I did.

Our house in Hanwell.  The photo was taken in 1988. The house was still lived in by the people who bought it from our parents in 1958.
